Happy New Year!
Just a few reminders going into the New Year:
School begins at 7:40 am and ends at 2:15 pm. If you need to pick your child up early from school, you should send them in with a note stating what time and who is picking the student up. Students can utilize this as their pass out of class to meet you in the main office at the time specified in your note.
Students are not allowed to ride buses that are not assigned to them. Please refer to page 10 in the student handbook outlining the bus rules.
When your child is going to be absent or is absent from school, please call or email the attendance officer to notify them. The number is 609-654-7707 ext. 8238 or email memorialattendance@medfordschools.net

Just a few items to share from Memorial School:
- 8th Grade Parents, please look for an email pertaining to Graduation gowns. Please complete this form for sizing.
- Please check out the Ink-credible Trimester 1 Issue. Our Ink-credible Club did a fabulous job
- Trimester 2 Clubs will begin the week of January 10th. If you have signed your child up for an activity, please check for an email from the advisor, welcoming your child to their club and providing information pertaining to the activity.
- Please note that school will be closed for Martin Luther King Day, January 16th. On January 17th, we will be having a 2 hour delayed opening for a teacher in-service. School starts at 9:40.
- Tickets to the Medford HSA's Annual Topgolf Fundraiser on Sunday, January 22nd are now available for purchase. Your $75 ticket includes three hours of golf in a heated bay, a full breakfast buffet, and optional instruction from a golf pro. To purchase, visit www.medfordhsa.org. - Last chance to order your child a yearbook will be on January 27th!
- Mid Trimester Interim Reports will be available online on January 27th.
- Spring sports season is around the corner. If your child is interested in participating in a Spring Sport (Girls Lacrosse, Girls Softball, Boys Baseball or Boys and Girls Track), please complete the interest form and make sure your child has a current, up to date physical. If you are unsure, please contact the school nurse. Please visit the Interscholastic Sports page for more information. Informational meetings will be held in February.
- Memorial School will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, January 31st from 2 pm until 7 pm in our Media Center. Please call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: medfordeducation to schedule an appointment. Please park in the lot off of Stokes Road to enter the Media Center.
