A Little About Me:
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit more about me, your language arts teacher! This will be my 15th year teaching (2024-2025), and I am thrilled to work at Medford Memorial Middle School. After graduating from Rowan University with dual majors: Elementary Education and American Studies, I first began my teaching career as a Kindergarten teacher. However, during that same school year, I made the move to Memorial and have been teaching middle school ever since. I am also certified to teach middle school social studies, and in addition to graduating Magna Cum Laude with two Bachelor's degrees, I have also earned an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Valley Forge.
Those days are long-gone, but what keeps me busy now is my husband and two kids! I have a son in seventh grade and a daughter in fifth grade. We love going on family adventures together. This year we've been to Savannah, Georgia and fun local stuff during the summer.
In addition to spending time with my family, I also enjoy a few hobbies: reading, exercising, shopping, and going to concerts. I like (almost) all kinds of music, and have been to over fifty concerts in my life!
I look forward to getting to know you this year, and remember: school days are happy days!
