Keeping it simple and straightforward…

“Communication is the key to student success.”

I believe any challenge can be met and any issue can be resolved through communication. I encourage students to self-advocate and ask parents/guardians to support me in that mission. It is often uncomfortable and scary for a middle school student to approach and speak to a teacher. However, this is one of the skills I hold very high on the list of reaching one’s potential. Likewise, if a parent/guardian perceives an issue or challenge, I would ask to be contacted immediately so we can tackle the challenge together.

Students want to be successful. Parents/Guardians want their students to be successful, and I want my students to be successful.
