What We Do: Sending Hope is a community service club dedicated to spreading kindness, compassion, and hope to those who need it most. Students will organize fundraisers, participate in hands-on service projects, and volunteer at off-campus locations to support our local community.

Past Projects Include:

  • Making PB&J sandwiches for those experiencing homelessness

  • Creating chemo care bags

  • Raising funds for the Red Cross after natural disasters

  • Volunteering at food pantries, animal shelters, preschools, and assisted living centers

Field Trips & Service Hours:

  • All field trips are after school and require permission slips and pick-up from the off-site location

  • Permission slips will be available in Google Classroom

  • Field trips are optional, and advance notice will be provided

  • Students can earn community service hours through meetings and trips

Logistics & Transportation:

  • Regular meetings are held Thursdays in Memorial’s LGI

  • Students may take the late bus (with a pass) or be picked up by a parent

  • If a meeting is canceled, families will be notified via email
