Marvel Club (Thursday)
Are you a fan of Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and the rest of the MCU? Join the Marvel Club!
Students will meet to watch and discuss the TV and Movies that make up the MCU along with sharing the background from the original comics. Selections will be made by students and some content may be rated PG-13/TV-14. Please do not register your child for the club if you are not ok with them watching this content.
The first meeting of Marvel Club will be held when late buses begin in the MTA at Memorial School from 2 to 3 pm. Club will meet thereafter every Thursday on full days. We will not meet on half days. If meetings need to be canceled or rescheduled, we will let everyone know by e-mail and announcements as soon as practicable.
Students must have a late bus pass, car ride home, or permission to walk home at the end of each meeting (For 6th graders, students will be dismissed from Memorial, NOT Haines).
For the first club meeting, Haines students will gather first in the Haines library and then be escorted to Memorial. Thereafter, Haines students are expected to come to Memorial for meetings by themselves.
Memorial students should report to the MTA after dismissal on club dates.
